1997: Toroid Terror

The game was Toroid Terror. Our rookie year 1997. The robot was crappy, made of plywood and rubber bands and lifted inner tubes. And the team had a few faces you still might recognize. We won a few rounds, caught fire once or twice and we all signed the bottom of the robot.
